OUR STORY
Sarah and Nathalie’s partnership grew from a shared passion for upholstery, craftsmanship and beautifully restored furniture.
They first met while Sarah was training towards her AMUSF qualification. Nathalie, already a qualified AMUSF upholsterer, taught the evening classes Sarah attended to further develop her skills. What began as a tutor-student relationship soon became a friendship built on shared values: meticulous attention to detail, traditional craftsmanship and a commitment to producing work of the highest standard.
Over time, Sarah and Nathalie began supporting each other on individual upholstery projects. They quickly recognised how naturally their skills complemented one another. Nathalie has a particular passion for traditional upholstery, preserving heritage techniques and time-honoured methods. Sarah brings a love of Mid-Century Modern design, clean lines and contemporary styling to furniture restoration and bespoke commissions.
Together, they offer a bespoke upholstery and soft furnishings service that combines traditional techniques with contemporary design, using modern materials and environmentally responsible alternatives wherever appropriate.
Based in the Chew Valley, they work with clients across Bath, Bristol, Wells and the surrounding areas. Their services include furniture upholstery, antique and traditional upholstery, Mid-Century Modern restoration, bespoke headboards, ottoman storage boxes, footstools and soft furnishings.

Nathalie's Story
Hi, I'm Nathalie Sevier. After many years living in France, I returned to the UK 11 years ago and discovered a passion for upholstery that quickly became my profession.
What began with leisure classes soon led me to train with the Association of Master Upholsterers and Soft Furnishers (AMUSF), gaining my professional qualification in 2023 with distinctions. Alongside working on upholstery projects, I also taught evening classes for several years, sharing my skills and enthusiasm with others.
What I’m Known For
For me, upholstery is about much more than restoring furniture. It is about preserving memories, craftsmanship and character. Whether working on a cherished family heirloom or a hidden gem waiting to be rediscovered, I love transforming tired pieces into something beautiful, functional and ready to be enjoyed and cherished again.
